DEAR PEOPLE,

The weather's very nice here, although Peter says that it's rather cloudy
or perhaps misty for a day in which it isn't raining. It gets colder
quickly in the afternoon, but even then, as Peter is only too quick to
point out, it's still well above freezing. The apartment has 3 1/2
medium-sized rooms which look even larger than they are because of the
high ceilings. There's a funny thing about the way many of the houses are
constructed here; in many of them you can see the shingles between the
ceiling beams but even in Peter's apartment there's no insulation at all.

The Art. Int. Lab is located in a very nice area with rolling hills and no
scarcity of greenery. The office itself has four desks and rows of books
and electrical equipment, pet lizards and frogs, and of course the garden
right outside the window. I must admit it's a convenient set up, except
that you need a car to get here or you'll have to walk about 3 miles after
getting off the bus.

So Lili should bring a sweater for when it gets cold, but she'll need a
light blouse for early afternoon.

                                          Guess who.
